Responsibilities Engineering Intern, Recycling Responsibilities:
Aid in the establishment of standards and policies for quality control, testing, operating procedures, inspections and maintenance of equipment in accordance with engineering principles and safety regulations Complete an overall project that could be in one of the following areas; Shred-Sort, Furnace, Slagging, Casting, Packaging, Fume Treatment, Waste Water, etc. Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of Capital Projects that help drive key strategic business objectives. Learn about global and local copper circularity and metal recycling in a practical manner. Learn about business and corporations, and manufacturing.Engineering Intern, Recycling Qualifications:
Pursuing bachelor's degree in Engineering, in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or an equivalent discipline High School graduate or equivalent Must be a Team Player and able to communicate effectively across all layers of the organization (corporate, metal purchasing, environmental, sustainability, plant management, laboratory, engineering, shop floor, yard, dock) Strong interpersonal, cross-disciplinary, and cross-cultural communication and leadership skills are required. Excellent problem-solving skills and a practical "can-do" attitude are expected. Must want to work in "hands-on" situations and apply "book knowledge" and "logic" toward real-world solutions.
