Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Shred Tech to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and ensuring the safe, efficient shredding and disposal of confidential materials. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help us maintain high standards of security, sanitation, and operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of heavy equipment while contributing to environmentally responsible waste management practices. Duties Operate shred truck and paper baler Gathering paper in bin (up to 250lbs), rolling bin to the shred truck to be shredded Must be able to climb stairs, walk long distances, bend, lift, and withstand hot and cold weather Cleaning up our shop, cardboard removal, and other tasks as assigned Use of electronics is required (Ipad, texting ability, etc) Cleaning and maintaining shred trucks regularly Conduct safety checks on trucks prior to use and report any maintenance needs promptly Prior experience driving larger trucks is a plus Experience working in a fast-paced environment that requires teamwork and adaptability Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Join us as a Shred Tech and become an essential part of our mission to deliver secure, efficient shredding services while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
