Job Description
Job Summary:
- The Recycling worker position involves managing and directing truck traffic on site, inspecting and removing Waste Bans from truck loads which may include mattresses, appliances, and TVs.
Qualifications:
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as sweepers Must be safety-conscious and vigilant in a busy work environment Strong communication skills to coordinate traffic flow effectively
Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct truck traffic flow on site Inspect and remove Waste Bans from incoming truck loads, including mattresses, appliances, and TVs Maintain cleanliness by picking up paper and sweeping debris around the work area Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times, ensuring safety protocols are followed Communicate effectively with team members and truck drivers to ensure efficient operations Operate cleaning equipment as needed •
Work Schedule:
- Work hours will be determined, with the possibility of some Saturday work required to meet operational needs.
