The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, including commercial spaces, food processing areas, and warehouses. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial, industrial, and food production settings. Sanitize surfaces and equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. Fabricate cleaning solutions as needed for specific cleaning tasks. Conduct custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting. Maintain cleanliness in warehouses by organizing materials and disposing of waste properly. Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for moving equipment or materials during cleaning operations. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning preferred. Knowledge of sanitation practices in food processing environments is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning supplies is beneficial. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions effectively.
