Facility Type:
Office We are seeking a diligent and safety-conscious Waste Collector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely collecting, transporting, and disposing of waste materials according to established protocols and regulations. This role is critical to maintaining a safe and compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lift and collect waste materials (bio-medical specimens) from various locations within the facility. Ensure all waste is properly contained and labeled according to safety guidelines. Transport trash and recyclables to designated disposal areas or facilities. Ensure proper documentation and tracking of waste disposal. Assist with general cleaning as needed.
Qualifications Must haves:
Physical stamina and dexterity Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with appropriate staff Reliable transportation Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments Ability to follow directions from a supervisor Ability to demonstrate professionalism Questions?
