The purpose of this position is to ensure that trash and debris are collected and deposited. This is accomplished by operating sanitation trucks and vehicles, changing out containers, working on the landfill transfer area, picking up loose trash and materials, maintaining and grounds and areas, and cleaning dirty containers. Other duties include directing dumping and transfer traffic and completing related tasks as assigned.LICENSING REQUIREMENTS

Schedules may be subject to change with or without advance notice 2 M Picks up and delivers dump and roll off containers by dropping off empty containers, delivering by backing up trailers, picking up filled containers, loading on trailers, ensuring refuse is covered, and transporting. Operates units and delivers large containers by putting containers into position, moving dumpsters for loading or changing, and placing empty large containers. 3 M Steams containers by preparing chemicals, degreasing, removing particles or materials, and preparing containers for painting or repair. 4 H Maintains alley rights of way by trimming hedges, trees and bushes, placing cut pieces into chippers or trucks, ensuring materials are not left in alleys, and transporting.MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
