Stocking Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of facility spaces; including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and production-adjacent areas. This role is critical in supporting a hygienic, safe, and pleasant work environment for all team members.Key Responsibilities:
Facility Sanitation:
Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning routines as assigned across various zones such as offices, restrooms, break areas, and warehouse spaces, in accordance with established sanitation protocols.Surface Disinfection:
Regularly disinfect high-touch surfaces including door handles, light switches, desks, countertops, and appliance handles.Floor Care:
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors across assigned areas to maintain a consistently clean and safe walking surface.Trash & Restocking:
Monitor and empty trash receptacles before they reach capacity or become odorous. Refill consumables like soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.General Appearance:
Ensure that all visible surfaces including mirrors, windows, walls, and baseboards are kept clean and presentable.Team Support:
Notify management of any facility issues (e.g., supply shortages, equipment malfunctions) and assist with other duties as assigned to ensure overall cleanliness and organization.Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience is a plus but not required
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Ability to follow instructions and established cleaning schedules.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and extended standing.
- Comfortable using cleaning agents and operating standard cleaning equipment.
