Job Description

All applications received during the recruitment period will be forwarded to the hiring department for review and consideration
  • Open until filled
  • Recycling Center Attendant (Part-time) : Inspects materials to be dropped at the Recycling Center.
  • Work Schedule:
    8 AM - 5PM on Friday, Saturday & Monday.
  • Inspects materials to be dropped at the Recycling Center by residents.
  • Ensures the Center is clean and free of clutter around dumpsters and oil collection containers
  • Ensures that recyclable items are collected
  • Addresses public inquires.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • One-year of work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Successfully pass a background investigation and medical screening The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking over rough or difficult surfaces; recurring stooping, climbing or walking; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items weighing less than 25 pounds and may require occasional lifting of objects weighing in excess of 25 pounds.
The work may require specific, but common physical characteristics and abilities such as mobility and dexterity. The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions. The employee may be required to use protective clothing or equipment such as masks, coats, boots, goggles, gloves, or shield.
