Job Description

Leadpoint and The Solid Waste Dept is seeking a full-time worker to provide litter control for areas around the recycling facility and keep site in a condition that meets DNR's regulatory requirements. Duties of this position would include, but are not limited to: Maintain areas around landfill and department grounds to eliminate wind-blown trash that accumulates on fences, open land, lawns, and in vegetation. Maintain lawn areas around department grounds. Operate gas-powered vacuum device, departments UTV, and other gas-powered equipment not limited to leaf blower, lawn mower, snow blower, and weed eater. Operate towable magnet around the site using UTV Assist with snow removal using snow blowers, shovels, and salt spreaders Clean landfill scales and walkways. Assist landfill crews in minor maintenance projects and clean maintenance shops. Tons of Growth Potential - We Promote from Within! 1st

Company-provided PPE Work Hours:
Monday - Friday 5:00am to 2:00pm; Occasional Saturdays Applicants for this position should possess the following: Good attendance is critical in this role Knowledge and ability to perform minor servicing of equipment. A valid driver's license. Ability to work semi-independently and as a team member. Demonstrated ability to comply with appropriate safety rules. Demonstrated flexibility in work schedule, especially in adverse weather conditions. Ability to walk, bend, stoop, lift, carry, push, pull and move objects up to 50 pounds, understanding and utilizing proper body mechanics.
