Job Description

Overview To be a part of the staff of Belleview Christian Academy is to be a part of God's ministry at First Baptist Church of Belleview, to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Each member of our school staff plays a vital role in that goal. From the preparation of lesson plans, participating in schoolwide events, to cleaning the bathrooms and classrooms—every part is important to the advancement of the Gospel for God's Glory. Every employee/staff member should view their job as being done unto the Lord and allow Colossians 3:23 & 1 Corinthians 10:31 to be a guide for all work. Duties Maintain and organize all staff personnel files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with state and federal regulations Print weekly finance reports File receipts and payable Oversee onboarding process for new staff, including background checks, certifications, and training documentation Support payroll processing by coordinating timesheet submissions, staff changes, and new hire information with the Operations Administrator Manage vendor contracts, service agreements, and relationships with external providers Assist with budget tracking, purchase approvals, and financial documentation as needed Monitor compliance requirements, including immunization records, background checks, and professional certifications Serve as a point of contact for staff HR questions and benefits inquiries Conduct annual audits of HR and compliance documentation to ensure accuracy Collaborate with administrators to address personnel or staffing issues in a timely and professional manner Maintain benefits and staff documentation Skills Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field Prior experience in financial management, budgeting, or accounting (3-5+ years) Ability to develop and monitor annual operating budgets Experience with audits, compliance, and regulatory reporting Proficiency in financial/accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate with school leadership, staff, board members, and parents Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information Commitment to the school's mission and values
