YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR C-STORE MANAGER

You create a positive and professional environment by overseeing store operations and ensuring high standards of customer service and cleanliness. As the primary leader for C-Store clerks, you manage hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews, and adherence to company policies. You also handle store profitability and inventory by executing bi-weekly orders, maintaining stock levels, and utilizing the CS Minder program, while applying FIFO principles and calculating pricing to meet margins. Additionally, you ensure food service excellence through deli food preparation, weekly special menus, and compliance with safety guidelines. You maintain financial control with daily cash re-counts, manage equipment maintenance, authorize purchases, and communicate with the main office, serving as the after-hours contact and attending essential meetings. Here's what we need from you: Excellent written and oral communication skills Problem-solving, calculating, and concentration skills Organizational, interpersonal, and creativity skills Ability to read and interpret documents (Safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals) Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs Ability to interpret written and oral instructions, diagrams, and schedule forms Ability to handle money Ability to work with interruptions Ability to lift 50 pounds Possess one or more of the following: Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school Six months to one year of related experience An equivalent combination of education and experience
