The Dispensary Manager at Higher Ground is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the dispensary, ensuring compliance with California cannabis regulations, driving sales performance and leading a high performing team. The Dispensary Manager will play a critical role in fostering a positive customer experience while maintain regulatory compliance, inventory accuracy, leadership, operational efficiency and passion for the cannabis industry.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Job duties include, but are not limited to: Recruit, train and develop dispensary employees, including budtenders, leads and front desk roles. Foster a positive, inclusive and professional work environment. Set clear performance expectations, provide employee feedback regarding performance. Manage staff scheduling to ensure coverage and operational efficiency. Drive sales performance amongst the store and employees. Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered consistently by all employees. Resolve customer escalated issues in a professional and prompt manner. Ensure dispensary operations comply with all California state and local cannabis regulations including security protocols. Enforce company policies and standard operations procedures. Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory and compliance documentation. Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate daily financial reporting. Responsible for opening and closing of store. Manage quality control of inventory from deliveries or by vendor. Responsible for updating aging inventory list to ensure the best quality of product is sold Log all ATM fill sin Trees or Blaze POS system. Maintain EOD bog sheet with proper amounts. Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 21 years old High school diploma or equivalent 2-3 years of leadership/management experience Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a diverse team Strong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, consumption methods and California cannabis regulations. Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail. Strong proficiency in POS System, Microsoft Office and inventory management software Must pass a background check as required by California law.PAY TRANSPARENCY
The pay scale for this position ranges between $23.00-$24.00 per hour. The total compensation is determined by job related skills, experience and education or training.SCHEDULE
This position requires a flexible schedule with shifts that consist of a rotating schedule of weekday and weekends shifts, including day, night and holiday work hours.BENEFITS

Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by air conditioning systems. Must be able to and able to stand for up to 6-8 hours per day. Must be able to lift to 25-50 pounds. Requires dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, vending, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
