Team:

The Manufacturing team owns all process development, fabrication strategy, and production equipment for Terran R, our next generation, reusable rocket. This team has a wide variety of responsibilities - from factory floor layout, to developing complex tooling for novel processes, and interfacing with our vehicle engineering team to heavily influence design of the rocket. We leverage our deep expertise to translate engineering requirements into highly optimized production lines, working cross functionally to consistently enhance the vehicle program. This is a first-shift position with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT. The role is structured around a 50-hour workweek, including 10 guaranteed overtime hours each week. About the

Role:

Responsible for drilling precision holes, including choosing the right drill motors and drill sizes, on flight hardware using appropriate tooling/jigs or egg cups Responsible for assembling hardware using structural adhesives, properly torquing fasteners, installing inserts, or installing hiloks Perform in process inspections using hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges Perform blending or deburr operations using appropriate hand or power tools and then protecting hardware with alodine/sealant Uphold high Relativity Space standards regarding safety and shop cleanliness Foster and inclusive environment for all members of the team

About You:

3+ years of precision drilling experience, structural assembly, or integration in an aerospace field Proficient in the use of common hand tools and inspection tools including mahr gauges Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office or other team communication tools such as Slack (or equivalent) Nice to haves but not required: A&P certified Experience with composite parts Experience with reading drawing or blueprints
