The primary purpose of the

ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS

MECHANIC, WG-2610-12/13, is to install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, calibre, and rebuild multi-system avionics complexes consisting of multiple completely integred electronic avionics systems where the complex accomplishes a number of major functions. The worker in this career field must demonstre the ability to perform on- or off-equipment maintenance on one or more complete electronic integred systems associed with the assigned aircraft and/or maintenance on automic flight control systems, instrument systems, inertial and radar navigion systems. Qualificions General Experience:

Possess experience, educion or training which provides the ability to install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, calibre, and rebuild multi-system avionics complexes.

ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC, WG-2610-12

(Training Grade): Must have least 18 months of experience performing on-or-off equipment maintenance on one or more complete electronic integred systems associed with the assigned aircraft and/or maintenance on automic flight control systems, instrument systems, inertial or radar navigion systems; Experience performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on one or more multi-complex electronic integred systems; Experience conducting operional checks, inspections, tests, trouble shooting, removal and replacement of line replaceable units; Experience solving complex problems by analyzing installion, circuitry, and opering characteristics of the systems; Experience adjusting and aligning system sensors, transmitters, amplifiers, power supplies, display devices, controls, transponders, actuors, servos, computers and other reled components.

Must have least least 12 months of specialized experiences working as an Electronic Integred Systems Mechanic, WG-2610-12 and have least18 months of specialized experience reviewing and analyzing maintenance da; Experience determining if criteria is sufficient to provide adeque test, troubleshooting and repair procedures; Experience devising and recommending tests, procedural changes, or da corrections; Experience monitoring the operions of complex, inter-reled systems, analyzing opering trends, and proposing preventive maintenance down time; Experience performing alignments, adjustments, and conducting final calibrions on integred systems to determine successful repairs.???????

TRAINEE POSITION

Applicants not meeting full qualificions for the WG-12 position indiced above may be considered for WG-13 trainee, if qualified. Stement-of-Difference of qualificion requirements for each are indiced. If appointed as trainee, the selectee may be non-competitively promoted to WG-13 upon meeting full qualificions and recommendions of supervisor.
