Key Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology Current ARRT or RCIS certification Valid BLS and ACLS certifications Previous experience as a Cath Lab Technologist preferred Proficient in operating imaging equipment relevant to the cath lab (fluoroscopy, angiography, etc.) Strong knowledge of sterile technique and cardiovascular anatomy Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and patient care skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures Operate fluoroscopy and angiography imaging systems during procedures Monitor and document patient vital signs, responses, and progress throughout the procedure Maintain strict aseptic technique to prevent infection Assist physicians with device preparation, contrast injection, and physiological monitoring Ensure accurate digital image acquisition, storage, and transmission Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to provide compassionate care throughout the patient experience Support post-procedure care and preparation of imaging documentation This contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment and the chance to further develop your skills in a specialized cardiac unit.
