Carpenter Assistant & Helper

In this energetic role, you will support skilled carpenters by preparing materials, handling tools, and assisting with various construction tasks. Duties Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using hand tools and power tools Support framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding tasks Prepare work sites by cleaning and organizing materials and ensuring safety protocols are followed Handle heavy lifting of materials such as lumber, drywall, and concrete forms to facilitate smooth workflow Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements Assist with installation of fixtures, molding, stucco, roofing components, and flooring Support restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold remediation, and general site cleanup Experience Prior experience in construction or carpentry is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and metal stud framing is a plus Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics enhances your ability to support complex projects Experience in the restoration industry or remodeling projects is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical work, masonry, or tile laying is beneficial Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're eager to build your career in construction!
