Cashier

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit
• Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets
• Redeem coupons and stamps
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas Qualifications
• Experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred
• Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
