Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Provide friendly assistance to customers by answering questions about products, store policies, and promotions Conduct product demos when applicable to enhance customer engagement and sales opportunities Upsell additional items or services to maximize sales and improve customer satisfaction Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Practice excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and stock rotation Support team members with supervising experience by helping train new staff or guiding less experienced colleagues Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures essential for accurate transactions Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members in a bilingual setting (if applicable) Demonstrated ability to perform retail math calculations quickly and accurately for sales totals, discounts, and change-making Experience in grocery store operations including stocking, merchandising, and customer service is advantageous Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism using phone etiquette and active listening skills Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding shopping experiences!
