Job Description

This is a great opportunity for students with ecological interests to gain practical experience and first hand knowledge of environmental/ecological restoration work.
Learn about:
Identifying native forbs, grasses, sedges, shrubs, and trees. Recognizing, identifying, and restoring different environmentally significant ecosystems. How to operate and maintain various tools involved in restoration work, i.e. mowers, weed-eaters, sprayers, fire backpacks, ATV gator, water pumps, chainsaws, etc. How to interact with the public when necessary. How to repair and work with fencing. And many other related responsibilities. This is hard work at times, but very rewarding. Hourly pay determined upon inquiries.
