Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision and integrity Upsell products and suggest additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, ensuring products are well-stocked and merchandised effectively Conduct product demos when appropriate to engage customers and promote new or featured items Assist with stocking shelves, inventory checks, and product placement to support store operations Requirements Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery or convenience stores Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures Strong communication skills with the ability to engage bilingual customers effectively Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone Demonstrated supervisory experience is a plus for those interested in growth opportunities Basic math skills for accurate cash register operations and transaction balancing Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service standards Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, and stock management is advantageous Embark on a rewarding journey where your proactive attitude makes a difference every day!
