Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions quickly and efficiently Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries with professionalism Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about merchandise to enhance their shopping experience Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Perform basic math calculations for transactions, discounts, and refunds to ensure accuracy Upsell products and promote store promotions to maximize sales opportunities Follow phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base Familiarity with POS systems and retail math for accurate transaction processing Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail setting is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking or merchandising Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Join our team and become an integral part of creating memorable shopping experiences!
