Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product demos to enhance their shopping experience Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and confidence, maintaining accurate cash handling records Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction Upsell products and suggest complementary items to boost sales and meet store goals Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when taking orders or answering inquiries from customers over the phone Support the store's overall operations through basic retail math calculations for pricing and inventory management Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock rotation and replenishment to keep the store inviting and well-stocked Experience Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred, especially within grocery stores or similar environments Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is highly advantageous Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership roles in retail settings is a plus Bilingual skills are beneficial for serving diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and courteously Experience conducting product demos or upselling techniques to enhance sales performance Knowledge of merchandising, stocking practices, and retail math principles to support store operations effectively Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable shopping experiences!
