Cashier/Stockperson

Responsibilities Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process customer transactions accurately and quickly Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers, answering questions, and guiding product selections Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities Restock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure products are properly displayed according to merchandising standards Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity Maintain a clean and organized checkout area while adhering to store policies on phone etiquette and customer interactions Support inventory management by stocking new products, conducting stock counts, and assisting with inventory audits Experience Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Bilingual skills are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse customer groups Demonstrated supervisory experience is advantageous for those interested in team leadership opportunities Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette, are essential for engaging with customers and team members Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Experience working in a grocery store or similar retail environment will help you excel in this role Join us today and become part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while growing your career in retail!
