Cement Mason

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cement Mason to join our dynamic construction team. As a Cement Mason, you will be responsible for executing high-quality concrete work across various projects, including commercial, residential, and renovation sites. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life through precise concrete finishing, formwork, and masonry techniques. Duties Prepare surfaces and set forms for concrete placement Operate power tools and heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and saws, to facilitate efficient workflow Install rebar reinforcement and metal stud framing to strengthen concrete structures in compliance with safety standards Finish concrete surfaces with hand tools and power tools, including troweling, smoothing, and texturing for a polished appearance Carpentry techniques for renovations or restoration projects that require detailed finishes Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while managing multiple trades such as roofing, framing, or metal welding when necessary Operate heavy machinery like excavator and skid steer for material handling on large-scale construction sites Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper tool storage Pass a pre employment drug screen, random drug screens, causative drug screens and annually Experience Proven construction site experience with a focus on masonry, concrete finishing, or related trades Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment operation, and maintenance procedures Familiarity with construction estimating processes and blueprint reading for accurate project execution Hands-on experience with rebar installation, formwork setup, decorative epoxy application, and restoration projects Ability to operate power tools such as mixers, saws, grinders, and welding equipment safely and efficiently Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including mini excavator or skidsteer is preferred Valid drivers licenses required Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining productivity in fast-paced settings Join us in building durable structures that stand the test of time!
