Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Certified Dental Assistant, where your expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will assist with chairside procedures, manage patient records, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and safety. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control protocols are strictly followed Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing chairside support with precision and confidence Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray imaging), ensuring proper technique and patient safety in compliance with HIPAA regulations Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards Conduct vital signs assessments and medical documentation to support comprehensive patient care, especially for pediatric patients Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, greeting patients, and managing medical records as a dental receptionist when needed Operate advanced dental technology including 3D scanners and medical imaging devices to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning Requirements Valid certification as a Dental Assistant with experience in dental assisting roles within a clinical setting Proficiency in EMR systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft; familiarity with Epic or similar platforms is a plus Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques Experience with X-ray procedures, medical coding, and managing medical records while maintaining HIPAA compliance Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently during four-handed dentistry procedures while maintaining high standards of patient comfort and safety Familiarity with dental specialties such as prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry procedures is advantageous Embark on a fulfilling career where your skills make a tangible difference!
