Certified Medical Assistant

Alaska Urology is looking for a Medical Assistant. Candidate needs to be a mature professional with strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Seeking a team player to include but not limited to rooming, setting up and assisting with in office procedures, vitals and injections. This position is very fast paced and you will be on your feet all day. This position is largely responsible for rooming the patients for assigned provider in clinic, so very hands on with patients. Ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, excellent computer skills, and be able to communicate with patients and staff in a professional, courteous manner. Must be organized, detail oriented, dependable and possess a positive, professional, compassionate attitude. Must also have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. If you like to stay busy and interact with patients all day while delivering quality care, this is the job for you! Nationally certified preferred, but not required. Must have completed formal Medical Assisting program. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. This is a full-time job Monday-Friday.
