Certified Medical Assistant/Receptionist

iHealth Medical is a medical spa and weight loss center with two locations in Irvine and San Gabriel, CA. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant/Receptionist. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical spa, providing excellent customer service, and supporting our medical staff.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Medical Assistant Certification Knowledge of anatomy and physiology Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic life support (BLS) certification Experience with EHR/EMR 1+ Year of administrative or customer service experience 1+ Year experience working at a medical spa and/or weight loss center (preferred) Reliable commute to Irvine, CA 92604 Open to travel (Preferred)

Responsibilities/Duties:

Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, etc. Answering phone calls and assisting patients with education, instructions, and questions Administer medications/injections under the direction of a healthcare provider Implement our etiquette and customer service policy at all times Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens Take and record patient vital signs Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments Light cleaning and restocking of inventory/supplies Assisting with check in and out, ensuring smooth patient flow Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
