Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across various settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, assisted living communities, and home care environments. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure patients receive the highest quality of support, comfort, and dignity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse healthcare needs, from geriatrics and memory care to acute and emergency situations. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing our commitment to valuing every team member's contribution. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using tools like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; accurately document findings in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper handling and adherence to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques Provide specialized care for patients with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory impairments in memory or behavioral health settings Help with medical procedures like catheter care, phlebotomy preparation, and basic life support when needed in acute or emergency environments such as Level I Trauma Centers or ICU units Maintain a safe environment by following infection control protocols and practicing proper hygiene techniques Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in inpatient, outpatient, or home & community care settings to deliver comprehensive patient service Skills Proven experience working with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation Knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to patient care across medical-surgical, ICU, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or post-acute settings Ability to perform catheter care, vital signs measurement, and basic life support confidently Experience working in specialized environments such as hospice care, urgent care clinics, or Level II trauma centers is highly desirable Strong caregiving skills with a focus on patient safety and comfort; experience with dementia care and memory support preferred Excellent communication skills for working effectively with patients of all ages and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams Join us to be part of a passionate healthcare environment where your skills directly impact lives.
