MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS NFHS
Coaches Certification, OSAA Certifications (Can be obtained after hiring) High School Graduate Previous successful coaching experience Skills in working positively with adolescents Understanding of successful teaching strategies Good communication skills Successful completion of fingerprint screening First Aid CPR trainingPERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach fundamentals of Cheer Plan and supervise practices and meets Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school personnelGENERAL AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
Assume a supervisory and teaching role with athletes Design practices to build skills and strategies Cooperate with CHS faculty and staff Oversee high school Cheer programQUALIFICATIONS DESIRED
High school teaching experience High school varsity Cheer experience Coaching Stipends paid at the end of the season. Actual dollar amount varies based on experience and step placement in accordance with the certified bargaining agreement, Extra Duty Salaries.NOTE:
