Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A Pharmacy Technician position is available for a contract assignment in Sherwood, OR. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations by accurately distributing prescribed medications and delivering exceptional customer service in a retail or long-term care setting.
Schedule/Hours:
Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8.5-hour shifts) Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8.5-hour shifts) Contract duration stretches from late May to late June 2026
Responsibilities:
Accurately distribute medications as prescribed by licensed healthcare professionals Provide customers with clear information regarding medication usage Maintain a superior standard of customer service at all times Support daily pharmacy operations in coordination with pharmacy staff
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Oregon Pharmacy Technician license required Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred Experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy settings is ideal Strong communication skills and attention to detail This contract opportunity is a great fit for a certified Pharmacy Technician who values accuracy and customer interaction.
