Chemical Packager

Primary Functions:

Packers assist the Operators on the packaging line of finished products. They perform first line visual quality inspection to ensure labels and caps are correctly positioned. They make sure there is enough materials to run the line and transport finished pallets to warehouse. They are also responsible for any paperwork and cleaning as required for their workspace. Packers are required to work both inside and outside of the buildings, which may include various inclement temperatures and weather conditions. The position involves driving forklift, standing/sitting/walking for extended periods of time, climbing ladders/stairs, stooping/bending and heavy lifting up to 50 pounds, and some areas may be noisy.

Requirements:

Our employees work with toxic and hazardous chemicals and around moving machinery. Safety is our 1st, 2nd and 3rd priority. You must be willing to wear all safety equipment, follow all safety requirements and actively participate in safety procedures. Candidates must have open availability for rotating shifts Prior chemical experience is a plus but willing to train Must be open to working mandatory OT, weekends and holidays Must be able to perform heavy lifting throughout the shift
