Chief Credit Officer Ledgent Finance & Accounting - 4.0 Monrovia, CA Job Details Full-time $180,000 - $225,000 a year 2 hours ago Qualifications Commercial banking expertise Commercial lending Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Ledgent Accounting & Finance has partnered with an established financial services company and is actively seeking a Chief Credit Officer to lead the bank's credit function, ensuring strong portfolio quality, effective risk management, and regulatory compliance. This role works closely with executive leadership and the Board's Loan Committee. Key Responsibilities Lead underwriting standards, lending policies, and credit strategy Monitor portfolio quality, concentrations, and compliance Guide and train lending teams; support performance and growth Oversee loan quality, documentation, and approval processes Manage credit risk programs, including CECL and stress testing Evaluate portfolio performance and manage policy exceptions Partner with auditors, regulators, and the loan committee Support recovery of non-performing assets Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA preferred) 15+ years in banking, with strong commercial lending experience 5+ years in credit leadership or senior underwriting roles All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
