• Full-time Teacher Qualifications (Must meet ONE of the following): Option 1: 60 semester hours of college credit with at least 6 hours in ECE/Child Development.

Option 2: 30 semester hours of college credit (with 6 in ECE) AND 1 year (1,560 hours) of documented experience in a licensed daycare. Option 3: A current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Option 4: A Gateways to Opportunity ECE Credential (Level 2 or higher).

Note:

We can also consider "Interim Conditional" candidates who are currently enrolled in ECE coursework.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
• Supervise and engage children in play, both indoors and outdoors
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Change diapers and assist with potty training
• Monitor children's behavior and address any disciplinary issues
• Communicate with parents about their child's day and progress
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare area

Requirements:

• First aid and CPR certification
• Experience working with children, preferably in a childcare setting
• Knowledge of childhood development stages and appropriate activities for each age group
• Ability to provide infant, toddler, preschool, and special needs care
• Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
