Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Child Care Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire growth, curiosity, and joy! In this rewarding role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children across various age groups, from infants to preschoolers. Your dedication will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning and development while fostering positive relationships with children and their families. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day through energetic and compassionate caregiving. We are looking for the hours of 8-5 & 10-6. Monday through Friday. Pay is determined based off experience. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in children. Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and learning activities to ensure their safety and well-being at all times. Foster a nurturing environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence among children. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, developmental milestones, and any incidents or concerns. Collaborate with parents and guardians to share progress updates and address individual needs or special considerations. Apply classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and conflict resolution among children. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures when necessary. Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom environments. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus. Strong skills in behavior management and classroom organization to create a structured yet flexible environment. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and caregivers from diverse backgrounds. Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers is highly desirable. Demonstrated commitment to nurturing children's growth through caregiving, teaching, and developmental support. Pay:
$12.00 - $16.00 per hour
