Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to oversee and implement comprehensive safety programs within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and workers' compensation law, fostering a culture of safety, and reducing workplace hazards. This role requires strong leadership in occupational health, training & development, and incident investigation to promote a safe working environment for all employees. Duties Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures aligned with regulatory standards such as OSHA, EPA, and workers' compensation law. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards. Lead root cause analysis investigations following incidents or near-misses to prevent recurrence. Coordinate and deliver safety training programs including CPR, first aid, OSHA compliance, and occupational health protocols. Manage workers' compensation claims process and ensure proper documentation and reporting. Prepare detailed report writing on safety performance metrics, incident reports, and compliance documentation. Stay current with evolving environmental regulations and ensure organizational adherence. Promote a culture of safety through employee engagement, training & development initiatives, and leadership support. Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections or audits. Qualifications Knowledge of ISO 14001 and
ISO 45001
management systems. Proven experience in manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and workers' compensation law. Certifications in first aid, CPR, OSHA safety standards preferred. Knowledge of occupational health practices and environmental management systems (EHS). Demonstrated ability in report writing, root cause analysis, and incident investigation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to train employees effectively at all levels. Strong leadership skills with experience in training & development programs aimed at fostering a safety-conscious workplace. Relevant degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, or related field is preferred. Pay:
$100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
