Chocolate Tasting Room - Retail Associate

Job description Loon Chocolate is seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing, and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our Tasting Room and Chocolate Shop in Bedford, NH. This role is ideal for someone who loves chocolate, connecting with people, providing elevated retail experiences, and sharing beautifully crafted chocolate in a welcoming, high-end environment. About the Role As a Retail Associate, you will be the face of Loon Chocolate, guiding customers through chocolate tastings, educating them on our products, and creating memorable shopping experiences. This position requires confidence, independence, and the ability to adapt to each guest's unique interests and needs. Key Responsibilities Welcome and engage customers with warmth and professionalism Lead chocolate tastings and confidently explain Loon Chocolate products, flavor profiles, and sourcing Assist customers with product selection and gift recommendations Operate the point-of-sale system and handle transactions accurately Maintain a clean and organized shop and tasting area Restock products and assist with inventory as needed Occasionally assist with light packaging or back-of-house support tasks Work independently while upholding Loon Chocolate's brand standards and customer experience Qualifications Friendly, personable, and comfortable interacting with a wide range of customers Strong communication skills and a natural ability to tell a product's story Self-motivated and able to work independently Detail-oriented and adaptable to different customer needs and pacing Previous retail, hospitality, or food-related experience preferred (but not required) Interest in chocolate or food is a plus

Schedule & Compensation Schedule:

Friday through Sunday, 9:30 AM - 6:00

PM Pay:
