Class A CDL Driver - Operator

Class A CDL Driver Lighthouse Environmental Services, Inc. (Lighthouse) is currently seeking experienced CDL operators that possess a valid Class A CDL driver's license. Experience with operating heavy equipment including roll-off tractor and trailer units, 70 and 130 barrel vacuum truck/trailer combinations, bobtail tractors and/or stakebed preferred. A current medical card and DOT physical are required, and the ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening. Onboarding process will include all required training and certification courses are scheduled and/or provided by the company. All required PPE and necessary tooling for successful job completion will be assigned during the onboarding process. Ideal candidate will be responsible for all required project paperwork and daily submission upon the completion of required tasks.

Mandatory Job Requirements:

Complete paperwork legibly each day including, but not limited to: DOT Driving Logs, waste disposal manifests, daily DOT vehicle inspections, Bill of Lading, CDL Haul Tickets; Will be required to exhibit your abilities on various vehicles, equipment and other transport vehicles based on your expected responsibilities; Ability to operate a backhoe and tracked skidsteer loader (at a minimum), to load/unload equipment/containers on/off trailers, and properly secure various loads and equipment per DOT regulations for transport; Ability to conduct daily inspections (Pre-trip/Post trip) on company vehicles and equipment based on DOT regulations (A pre and post trip form must be submitted daily with project paperwork for all DOT equipment and vehicles operated); Communicate with direct supervisor and/or company mechanic concerning repairs or concerns so they may be addressed promptly and efficiently; Adhere to all company safety and employee conduct requirements including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as described in the provided personnel policy manual and Heath & Safety Manual; Current medical card and DOT physical required; Valid Class A CDL driver's license; Must be able to commute daily to Odessa office; Employee must clock in and clock out each day using the local biometric time clock via personal

HAZWOPER

Competent Person certification; Confined Space Certification; Asbestos Transporter Endorsement; Experience with: roll-off hoist truck or roll-off trailer, vacuum tractor/trailer combo, bobtail/tandem trucks, and Hydro excavation units; Local candidates ONLY; Tanker Endorsement; Hazardous Materials License Endorsement.
