Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional supporting students in a school setting Demonstrated ability to assist with virtual learning and technology platforms Comfortable working independently with homebound students Effective communication skills and a supportive, professional demeanor Flexibility and adaptability to meet unique student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Support students participating in virtual occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology sessions Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment during all sessions Assist students in navigating technology and virtual learning tools as needed Communicate regularly with educational professionals to ensure student progress Uphold safety and confidentiality standards at all times This summer position offers the chance to build meaningful professional relationships with students and the therapy team, as well as the opportunity to sharpen your skills in virtual and individualized instruction.
