SKJ Facilities Management has been a leading provider of cleaning services in the Southern Tier for over 25 years; offering permanent employment opportunities in a supportive and safe environment. We are currently seeking dedicated Cleaners in Corning . As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of various facility areas, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our customers.

Currently opportunities:

Monday - Thursday 4PM - 8PM and Sunday 4-8PM (20 hrs/wk). Worksite is a manufacturing environment (located near the Corning library). Responsibilities Maintain and clean assigned facility areas, including restrooms, locker rooms, breakrooms, offices, lobbies, conference rooms, and stairwells. Perform tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning glass, emptying trash, dusting surfaces, polishing fixtures, sanitizing surfaces, and stocking and cleaning dispensers. Work a consistent, regular schedule to support the company's customers by creating a clean environment. Complete other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Honesty and integrity in all aspects of work. Self-motivated and desire to perform detailed cleaning duties. Prior cleaning experience is preferred but not required. Training is provided. Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stamina to stand for long periods, walk, bend, push, twist, climb stairs, and reach high and low during shifts. Ability to work with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and tools to complete assigned tasks. Compliance with safety policies and procedures, including wearing necessary PPE provided by SKJ. Ability to read and write in English to read work-related information and complete checklists. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Reliable transportation to and from work.
