Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cleaner/Mentor to join our team. This role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment while providing mentorship and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to foster positive relationships. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the community while developing valuable skills in cleaning, mentoring, and interpersonal communication. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of designated spaces, including floors, surfaces, and equipment, ensuring a hygienic environment. Assist in organizing and maintaining cleanliness of common areas and personal spaces. Provide mentorship and positive guidance to individuals, fostering a supportive atmosphere. Support participants with daily activities, encouraging independence and personal growth. Collaborate with team members to develop engaging activities that promote well-being and community involvement. Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and mentoring sessions. Adhere to safety protocols and health guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all. Requirements Prior experience in cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse populations. Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to mentor and support others. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Reliable transportation is preferred for mobility around different locations. Ability to pass background checks as required by the organization. Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the community setting.
Pay:
$16.32 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
