Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist for a 13-week contract position in Cameron, AZ, starting ASAP. This role supports a JCAHO-accredited health center serving a large, culturally diverse area, including Navajo and Hopi communities.
Schedule & Location:
Shift:
Four 10-hour days with variable days off; shifts may start at 8:00am, 9:00am, 10:00am, or 12:00pm Weekday and weekend shifts assigned on a rotating basis No Arizona pharmacy license required
Housing:
Limited shared units available at $600/month (no family or pets allowed)
Role Overview:
This position provides comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services at the main campus and satellite clinics. You will deliver direct patient care across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients. The role requires shift flexibility—day, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays—and offers professional growth through multiple pharmacist tier levels up to Advanced Practice Pharmacist.
Responsibilities include:
Providing clinical pharmacy services for inpatient and outpatient departments Managing specialized pharmacy clinics and programs to optimize care quality Administering policies and procedures in line with organizational mission and values Supervising pharmacy staff including pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and billers Operating as Clinic Manager of Operations at assigned clinics
Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited school Unrestricted Pharmacy license from any U.S. state, territory, or D.C. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by American Heart Association Minimum two years as a Registered Pharmacist, with at least one year as a Clinical Pharmacist Fingerprinting clearance required before start This contract role offers a unique chance to practice in a distinctive region with diverse patient populations.
