• Contract Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and detail-oriented CNA / Nurse Assistant to join our dedicated healthcare team.

Your expertise will help deliver high-quality patient care in environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care settings. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other transfer devices Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to support accurate medical documentation and patient assessments Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper handling and adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health support Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy (blood draws), and aseptic techniques in compliance with infection control standards Document patient information accurately in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks to maintain comprehensive medical records Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care, ICU, emergency medicine, or post-acute settings to deliver seamless patient service and support physiologic needs Qualifications Valid CNA certification or equivalent state licensure required; experience as a Nurse Assistant preferred Demonstrated experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, or outpatient clinics Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices including aseptic technique Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation Familiarity with senior care, geriatrics, behavioral health, hospice care, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is highly desirable Ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting (including Hoyer lifts), repositioning patients safely and effectively Strong communication skills coupled with compassion for patient-centered care and teamwork excellence Join us in delivering exceptional healthcare services by providing compassionate support that enhances the quality of life for every individual we serve.
