Job Title:

CNC Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC Turning Centers and Vertical Mills. The role involves operating manual mills and lathes for secondary machining operations, monitoring machining processes, and inspecting finished parts to ensure quality standards are met. You will maintain machines through daily cleaning and routine upkeep, read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications, and enforce all safety protocols and shop guidelines. Additional duties within the machining department may be assigned. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC Turning Centers and Vertical Mills. Operate manual mills and lathes for secondary machining operations. Monitor machining processes and inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain machines through daily cleaning and routine upkeep. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. Follow and enforce all safety protocols and shop guidelines. Perform additional duties as assigned within the machining department. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience operating/programming CNC machines. Proficiency in lathe programming, Mazak Mill, and manual machining skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience with G code and M code. Troubleshooting and changeover skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Why Work Here?
