CNC Operator

About us New Generation is a full-service CNC, tool & die, and conventional job shop with a reputation for quality since 2013. We have the expertise to handle difficult technical challenges in CNC Milling and Turning. We take pride in the quality of our work and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time on-site role for 1st shift, located in Piedmont, SC for a CNC Machinist. You will be responsible for setting up, operating and maintaining various CNC machines to produce precision parts and instruments. Other responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, loading programs into the machine, and monitoring machines during operation to detect problems and adjust machine controls. Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role Proficiency in programming, setting-up and operating CNC machines Strong understanding of technical drawings and schematics Experience with precision measuring tools (such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges) Ability to use various machine tools safely and efficiently Attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions and procedures Effective organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision High school diploma or GED equivalent Certificate or associate degree in CNC machining or related field is a plus
