Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Operator and become a vital part of our precision-driven production process! In this role, you will operate and maintain computer numerical control (CNC) machines, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other automated equipment. Your expertise will ensure high-quality fabrication, machining, and assembly of components used across various industries. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and contribute to innovative fabrication projects. Duties Set up, program, and operate CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications to ensure precise machining. Perform routine inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Maintain machine tools including tool changes, calibration, lubrication, and troubleshooting to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. Handle materials safely using forklifts or other materials handling equipment; assist with packaging and assembly line tasks as needed. Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure compliance with safety standards and specifications. Collaborate with team members on fabrication tasks involving tooling setup, or fabrication of components for assembly or packaging. Experience Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience working with CNC machinery or machining equipment is highly preferred. Proficiency in CNC programming, including Fanuc controls or similar systems. Knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks for designing or modifying parts. Familiarity with CAM programming for generating tool paths for CNC operations. Mechanical knowledge related to tooling setup. Experience reading blueprints accurately and understanding principles for quality assurance. Ability to use hand tools like calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments confidently. Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and machine adjustments. Warehouse experience or familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is advantageous. Join us in a role that combines technical skill development with hands-on manufacturing! $35,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
