Duties Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual handling techniques when necessary Transport a variety of cargo including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, or bulk materials like gravel or waste Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records Route driving to optimize delivery schedules while managing time effectively for multiple stops Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and emergency responders as needed during deliveries Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial driving environments Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and familiarity with different truck types such as flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Experience with freight handling including load & unload procedures using forklifts or manual methods Ability to drive tractor-trailers safely over long distances while managing route schedules efficiently Knowledge of safety protocols related to transporting hazardous or sensitive materials such as refrigerated goods or tankers Strong physical stamina for loading/unloading cargo and performing vehicle inspections Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatch teams and customers Join us to drive your career forward!
