Commercial Drivers License Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various heavy-duty trucks and equipment to transport materials, waste, or goods to designated locations. Your expertise in commercial driving combined with mechanical knowledge will ensure efficient delivery and pickup operations. Duties Safely operate a variety of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbed, and tractor-trailers with manual transmissions. Load and unload materials or waste using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring secure and balanced loads. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Drive in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies, maintaining a clean driving record. Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, utilizing mechanical knowledge to handle equipment safely. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, team members, and customers to coordinate deliveries or pickups. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with regulatory standards. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues and perform basic maintenance checks. Proven experience operating front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, and log trucks. Excellent driving skills with a valid CDL license Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Prior delivery driver experience demonstrating punctuality and reliability.
