Commercial Interior Remodel Superintendent

We are a growing contractor in the Houston area offering a variety of services but specializing in interior office remodels. Our clients range from Government entities to private companies. We are seeking a self-motivated Construction Site Superintendent with experience in interior office remodels. The ideal candidate will be able to manage and oversee multiple, fast-paced projects at a time with a keen eye for detail. We value teamwork and a commitment to quality. Responsibilities:

Meet with Project Manager, Clients and/or Subcontractors to gain a complete understanding of project SOW Oversee onsite activities to ensure compliance with project timelines and specifications Coordinate with Clients, Subcontractors and Vendors to manage projects efficiently Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to Project Manager Direct subcontractors and foremen to ensure accurate completion of project SOW Enforce OSHA and Company safety protocols Complete periodic and end of project walk-throughs to ensure compliance with quality standards

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as commercial superintendent, preferably with interior office remodel background Experience in metal stud framing, acoustical ceiling and process of finishes Able to read and understand blueprints In-depth knowledge of construction procedures and materials Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Be a problem-solving team player with leadership abilities Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) Strong knowledge of MS Office Must have a valid Texas DL and be able to pass a background check Bilingual preferred but not required
