This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop personalized lesson plans, foster musical growth, and cultivate a love for music in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and expertise to help students achieve their musical goals while ensuring a positive and engaging learning experience. Duties Design and implement customized guitar lesson plans tailored to each student's skill level, interests, and learning style Conduct one-on-one private lessons for students across various age groups, including children, teenagers, and adults Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly to maximize development Incorporate curriculum development techniques to create engaging and effective instructional materials Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment during lessons Provide guidance on music theory, technique, performance skills and team building in preparation of playing with bandmates Support students in preparing for recitals, auditions, or examinations as needed Foster a nurturing atmosphere that encourages creativity, confidence, and enjoyment of music Skills Strong curriculum development skills to create structured yet flexible lesson plans Excellent classroom management and behavior management abilities Effective tutoring skills with the ability to motivate and engage students of varying backgrounds Familiarity with musical genres, performance techniques, and instrument maintenance Strong communication skills to clearly explain concepts and provide constructive feedback Creative use of multimedia tools like photography or video recordings to document progress or enhance instruction Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for fostering musical growth in all learners Join us in shaping the next generation of talented guitarists!
