Not Available About the Opportunity A respected and growing law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Albany office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated business litigation matters while receiving strong mentorship and meaningful courtroom exposure. The firm offers a collaborative environment, direct access to experienced litigators, and the opportunity to handle complex disputes for business clients across multiple industries without rigid billable-hour pressure. Key Responsibilities Manage and support commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and related filings Conduct legal research and contribute to litigation strategy Handle discovery, document review, and e-discovery processes Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and clients on case development and strategy Manage multiple matters in a fast-paced legal environment Required Qualifications JD from an accredited law school Active admission to the New York Bar 2-10 years of experience in commercial or business litigation Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Experience with pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines effectively Preferred Background Ideal candidates will have experience handling sophisticated business disputes in state and/or federal court environments. Pay:
